Montessori

At Home From Home Creche  and Montessori we are registered for the Governments Free Pre-school Scheme ( ECCE). Children aged between 3yrs and 2 months and 4yrs 6 months before September are eligible.

Montessori is a method of early childhood education which was specifically designed to meet the basic needs of the child and help develop the child as a total human being.

Through Montessori we provide activities that will help develop sensorial, practical life, language, culture and skills. The Montessori method encourages children to learn about the world around them through exploration.

They are given the freedom to move around, manipulate and touch. While we follow the Montessori method we also help develop each child’s reading, writing and numeracy through our curriculum and development programmes.

Arts and crafts, music, drama, role play, textural play, baking, outdoor play are also key areas of our curriculum.

Our qualified teachers strive to ensure that your child’s time with us is as enjoyable as possible while at the same time ensuring they enter school happy and confident.
